SPECIAL CALLED COUNCIL MEETING

March 27, 2007

The City Council of the City of Lanett, Alabama, met in special called meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in the Council Chambers of the Lanett Municipal Complex at 8:00 A.M. The roll was taken and the following were found to be present: Councilmember Duskin, Councilmember McCoy, and Councilmember Yarbrough. Councilmember Malone was absent and Councilmember Heard was late 8:05 A.M. Mayor Crawley was present and presided over the meeting.

The purpose of this Special Call Council Meeting is the consideration of “Ordinance

03-07-01 Petition for Annexation”.

Councilmember McCoy read the “Ordinance 03-07-01 Petition for Annexation”. Councilmember McCoy made a motion to suspend the rule and adopt “Ordinance 03-07-01 Petition for Annexation”. Councilmember Yarbrough seconded the motion. Roll call vote as follows: Councilmember McCoy – Yea, Councilmember Duskin – Yea, Councilmember Yarbrough – Yea, Mayor Crawley – Yea and Councilmember Heard – Yea. Motion unanimously carried.

Councilmember McCoy made a motion to adopt “Ordinance 03-07-01 Petition for Annexation”. Councilmember Duskin seconded the motion. Roll call vote as follows: Councilmember Heard – Yea Councilmember McCoy – Yea, Councilmember Duskin – Yea, Councilmember Yarbrough – Yea, and Mayor Crawley – Yea. Motion unanimously carried.

There being no further business to come before this Council, motion duly made, meeting adjourned.
