CITY OF LANETT

REGULAR SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING

May21, 2007

The City Council of the City of Lanett, Alabama, met in regular session on Monday, May 21, 2007, in the Council Chambers of the Lanett Municipal Complex at 6:00 P.M. The roll was taken and the following were found to be present: Councilmember Duskin, Councilmember Heard, and Councilmember McCoy. Mayor Crawley, Councilmember Malone and Councilmember Yarbrough were absent. Mayor Pro Tem Heard was present and presided over the meeting.

Reverend Nellie Giles said the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance.

Mayor Pro Tem Heard said that the council meeting did not have a quorum and council could not have a meeting. The only thing would be giving out the Proclamations as follows: Miss Lanala: Reagan Gilbert accepting the proclamation was Reagan Gilbert, Miss Lanett High School: Jessica Griffith accepting the proclamation was Jessica Griffith, Mr. Lanett High School: Robbie Nelson accepting the proclamation was Robbie Nelson, Valedictorian: Robbie Nelson accepting the proclamation was Robbie Nelson Salutatorian: Chanice Hill accepting the proclamation was Chanice Hill, Miss Springwood High School: Tessa Pitts was absent to accepting the proclamation, Mr. Springwood High School: Ben Simms accepting the proclamation was Ben Simms, Valedictorian: Carson Hill accepting the proclamation was Carson Hill and Salutatorian: Eric McHargue accepting the proclamation was Eric McHargue.

They’re being no further business, to come before this Council, motion duly made, and meeting was adjourned.
