The City Council of the City of Lanett, Alabama, met in regular session on Monday, October 17, 2005, in the Council Chambers of the Lanett Municipal Complex at 6:00 P.M. The roll was taken and the following were found to be present: Councilmember’s John Duskin and Councilmember Mike Yarbrough. Absent: Councilmember Jamie Heard, Councilmember Kyle McCoy and Mayor Oscar Crawley. Mayor Pro-tem Tony Malone was present and presided over the meeting.
Reverend Horace Blount said the invocation and led the pledge of allegiance.
Mayor Pro-tem Malone read Proclamation - Senior Master Games Participants and presented a plaque to the Master Game participants.
Mayor Pro-Tem Malone presented a Master Games of Alabama Golden Alumni Award to Lomas Hinkle, which could not be there and his son, Allen Hinkle accepted the award.
Mayor Pro-tem Malone said being there was no quorum the meeting could not be held.
There being no further business to come before this Council, motion duly made, meeting was adjourned.
