Recreation Riverside Country Club Golf Course Lanett's own semi-private golf course . West Point Lake Partially located in Lanett, West Point Lake is a U. S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir that extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River, just north of West Point, Georgia.  The lake has a shoreline more than 500 miles.  Recreational opportunities abound with 10 campgrounds, 26,000 acres of water surface available for water sports, fishing,  nature and wildlife management areas.  For more information regarding West Point Lake visit www.westpt.sam.usace.army.mil or stop by the Visitor Center located at the Project Management Office .  Open year round with Winter hours (October-March) are 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Summer hours (April-September) are 8:00a, until 5:00pm seven days a week. (706)645-2937 Rocky Point Beach Located on County Road 222 in Lanett, the Rocky Point Beach opens the first weekend in May and closes on Labor Day.  Hours of operation are 8:00am to 9:00pm.  Admission is $4.00 per vehicle.. Thunder Ridge Motor Speedway Located at 1601  49th Avenue S.W. in Lanett, the Thunder Ridge Motor Speedway is a 1/5 mile clay oval kart racing facility that runs March to September every Friday night at 8pm.  Admission: $10.00 Grandstand, $20 Pit Pass, Children 12 and under free.
