The City of Lanett outsources garbage collection to Amwaste. Amwaste operates in the Lanett area on Mondays through Thursdays.
Your garbage is picked up at the roadside once a week; if you are unsure of your pickup date, simply call City Hall at 334-644-2141.
If you need an extra garbage can, you can simply call or come by City Hall and request one. Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery or replacement of all garbage cans. Cans are only delivered on Wednesdays and Fridays.
If you are disabled or unable to physically push your garbage can to the road and you live alone, backdoor pickup is offered.
